Animal & human rights (Introduction - Thesis)
Animal rights are usually in the public eye because of its moral and ethical significance. Obviously, humans are animals too, so, why should we difference between their rights? Honestly, that discrimination should not exist. We are all living beings, living in the same place.

Task: Write an opinion paragraph about something you really like but most people don't like at all.
Electronic music is very important in my life for a simple reason, it makes me feel like if I were in a space free of any problem and concern. Sometimes, when I am angry or sad, the only way I can improve my frame of mind is listening to music. However, it not necessary for me to have a determined mood, but it is true that in these times I appreciate much more the little details. On the one hand, I must admit that the kind of music I listen to is a bit strange, because it is composed by many different "robotic" sounds. On the other hand, I feel proud of being a person who is able to see the beauty and harmony where most of the people only can hear noise. Regardless the kind of music you listen to, being more or less popular, the most relevant aspect is that you feel comfortable about yourself listening to what you listen.
(I can not resist adding a song too. This one is probably the best I have ever heard, and believe me, I have heard more than what you could imagine. ENJOY :D)

Domestic violence (Problem-solution)
Domestic violence (Problem-solution)
The gender violence is a reality in our society, machist society as I see. It has always been there, but, why? Obviously because of the absurd mentality of some men, who believe they are superior than women.
Recently, it is increasing considerably, a real and worrying problem. Again, the reason is that machism inculcated from our childhood, in media, but above all, at home. It only depends on us, take it as a part of our way of being and personality or, on the contrary, refuse it and condemn it.
A possible solution may involve to stiffen the penalties, increasing their duration for example. Anyways, I consider it a waste of time, because the abusers doesn't care about what is changing regarding laws and justice, if they want to attack their wifes or girlfriends, they will do it regardless the consequences.
Another potential solution is to raising awareness from childhood. In this manner we ensure that respect and gender equality is what predominates in the future (prevention is better than cure). For this reason, I believe it is the most logic solution.
To finish, I just can say that if we fight all together against machism as a united and mature society, some day we will finish with it.
Advantages & disadvantages of social networks.
Advantages & disadvantages of social networks.
Nowadays, almost everyone uses social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram...), so it is not strange if I say that they play an important role in our lifes. Obviously, everything is not positive about them, they also have many different downsides. As for the pros, it is undoubtely that these sites spread information faster than any other media, something instantaneous and massive. In addition, they improve our social relationships, meeting people from any part of the world. Also, social networks offer a way for unknown musicians and artists to increase their audience considerably. Another positive aspect about them is the "crowdsourcing" and "crowdfunding", which allows people to collectively accomplish a goal.
Anyway, it is not all sunshine and roses. For instance, they can be a real distraction for some people, spending more time on them than studying or working. Furthermore, there are many people who have the main purpose of offending other users, a phenom commonly known as bulliyng. However, perhaps the biggest social networks drawback is that they make identity thief easier, that is why a complex password is requested to us when we sign in.
In summary, the pros and cons of social networks are so equaled, but with a few healthy habits we can minimize the disadvantages. Thereby, we only have to be careful and responsible with what we do inside that "little" virtual universe.

Assassin's Creed I vs. Assassin's Creed II...which is the best one? (Block method)
AC1 vs. AC2
Assassin's Creed saga has been with us from 2007 (when I was only 11) and has marked a beginning and an end in many "gamers". Anyway, its two first games were the best ones for many people (me, for instance), so I am going to try to make a choice between both.
AC1 was the first one and which has the value of originality. The story begin in Siria, 1191 A.D., and we are Altaïr Ibn-la'ahad (Altair), who has a clear objective: finding and recovering a sacred object, the Apple of Eden. During his life as an assassin, he has an obvious enemy that will be always there giving a real meaning at the game, the Templars. In the game we can visit different cities like Jerusalen, Acre, Damasco and Masyaf (were we start our adventure). One of the revolutionary aspects about AC1 is undoubtely the parkour, which was a little bit rudimental, something obvious if we remember that we are talking about the first game of the saga. As for the graphic aspect, it was an amazing demostration of what were able to achieve systems like PS3 or Xbox 360. Nevertheless, if we compare it with the last games of that generation, we realise that the improve in the following years has been astonishing.
AC2 improved the first game in many things, but you know what is said, sequels are never any good (maybe not in this case). This time, we move from Siria in 1191 A.D. to Italy (Florence) in 1459 A.D., in the Renaissance. Now we are Ezio Auditore di Firenze (Ezio), a descend of Altaïr whose father and brothers were executed by the Templars during his adolescence. From that moment, he begins a new life as an assassin, trying to discover who was behind of the death of his relatives. Compared to AC1, this game has much more references to the History, for instance, appears real hystorical charachters like Leonardo Da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli or Rodrigo Borgia. Also, we can visit italian cities different Italian places: Venice, Florence, Forli, San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside. The graphics were improved too from AC1, specially its illumination, which caused me a breathtaking impresion the first time I played it.
To sum up, I must admit that it is a difficult decision because both are awesome and stunning games, but after balance the charachteristics of AC1 & AC2, I have to choose the second one because of its stunning argument and its charming atmosphere, which can make you play the game for hours and enjoy it as it was the first time.

Let's talk about music.
Do you want to know what do I feel listening to music? Honestly, it only depends on the frame of mind and, obviously, the song. Some days, for any reason, I want to hear slow songs and just let fly my imagination, instead, also there is days when the only thing I want is to play fast and rythmic songs and feel the adrenaline running through my veins. Consequently, you have to understand that music does not have only one meaning for me.
As for the genres, styles or kinds of music (call it what you want) I must confess that I am passionate about electronic music, as known as EDM (Electronic Dance Music), but not any genre of EDM. Solely three of them are able to transmit me more than any other: Dubstep (my favourite one), House and Electro. Maybe some day I talk about the different subgenres, which for me it is an absolutely fascinating topic, but a little bit broad and hard to understand if you are not aware of the EDM world.
Regarding the DJ's or producers, one of the most famous of Dubstep is undoubtedly Skrillex, who, personally, is very overrated by the general public, but hated at the same time by much people too. He is not a bad DJ at all; however, the kind of music that he produces is not harmonic, it is at the limit between music and noise. Anyway, there is many unknown producers who create stunning pieces of art too, and they have far less recognition than others, which is really unfair for them.
To sum up, I want to say that, regardless the kind of music we listen, we should respect all the different music genres (except reggaeton). To finish, I must confess that I have been listening to music writting this blog, honestly, a really good experience.

Description of a place (8/10/2014) With Eva María Alfaro Romero
I have lived in London since 2001. In general I like this city, but there is some things that I hate the most: the streets. But not exactly the streets, I mean that I don't like the stress I feel there. In addition, it is almost always crowded, and I can smell the sweat, the car smoke and the rubbish. However, the people is elegant dressed. Nevertheless, the disorder is always reigning and the high buildings opress the space. Definitely, I would prefer to live in a quiter and less populated place, but when I think in my family and friends who live here, I remove that idea from my mind.
